Ohio has an affordable housing crisis.
And I want to do something about it.

Families Flourish, an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, seeks to demonstrate the positive impacts on academic achievement and mental health that relocation into higher resourced areas creates by providing:

  • Access to housing and partial rental support in higher resourced neighborhoods to positively impact low wage working households with children under the age of 14

This project will develop a nationally replicable model that connects health and housing.

By going further than traditional voucher programs, Families Flourish aims to break down the social and economic barriers between high opportunity housing and those who want to live there.  As the Co-founder, President & CEO, Ms. Klaben is responsible for ensuring the conceptualizing and organizing of all factors of this multifaceted project.  To learn more, visit the Families Flourish website.
